May 26th
Oak Island Summer Concert Series: ,"Bands by the Beach" takes place every Friday in Middleton Park from 6:30-8:30pm. Blackwater Band will be playing on May 26th. Bring your lawn chairs, a cooler and get ready to rock the night away! Parking is free during this event.
Ocean Isle Summer Concert Series, this takes place every friday at the Town Center Park from 6:30-8pm. The Tonez play on Friday May 26th. Bring your beach chair and sing the night away!
May 27th
Classic Memories Memorial Day Event: A day of family fun kicks off with a pancake breakfast from 8:30-11am ($6 per person). World War II aircraft, memorabilia and classic cars will be on display. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be for sale from 11:30-1:30pm. A concert by The back Porch Rocks from 10am-12pm will be part of the festivities. Come enjoy at the Cape Fear Regional Jetport, 4015 Airport Road SE, Southport, NC. 8:20am-3pm.
Market on Mulberry: Music, snacks and open air shopping for fresh produce, arts and crafts. Every Saturday during the summer from 9am-12:30pm at 123 Mulberry Street, Shallotte, NC
May 28th
Memorial Holiday Market: 12pm-5pm at 5 W 3rd Street, Ocean Isle Beach for a market full of unique gifts from local vendors.
Holden Beach Summer Concert Series: Bring your chair and get ready to dance! Every Sunday evening Holden Beach puts on this free event through the summer from 6:30pm-8pm at the Holden Beach Pavilion. This week come out and see The Extraordinaires!
May 29th
Memorial Day Parade and Remembrance in Southport, NC from 10:30am-12pm. The Parade start on the corner of Lord and Tenth Street to Howe Street. It sill convent at the John N. Smith Cemetery on Leonard Street for a Memorial Ceremony at 11am.
Oak Island Farmers and Artisans Market: 8am-1pm at Middleton Park. local vendors offer fresh produce, homemade goods and more! Come join the fun in the park!
Memorial Day Observance Ceremony: Remember those who gave their lives in service by honoring veterans at the Battleship North Carolina's annual event. Featuring a military guest speaker, a 21-gun salute, taps and memorial wreath cast into the waters. #1 Battleship Road, NC 28401 from 5pm-6pm.
